A LITTLE HISTORY FROM HALLOWEEN

Halloween or Night from witches is a holiday provenient of the Celta Culture that is
celebrated in the night on October 31. The children are disguise themselves for the ocassion
and walk along the strees and ask for candies of door in door. In addition, the children pronounce the phrase "Trick trick halloween I want candies for me". If the addults give them caramels, money or any other type of rewards, it is interpreted that they have accepted the dealing. In contrast if the addults refuse, the boys can do to them a small prank, being the most common to throw eggs or shaving foam against the door.

Halloween is a derivation of English expression All Hallow´s Eve (Eve of the Day of the Saints). It was celebrated in the anglo-saxon countries, principally in Canada, USA, Ireland and the United Kingdom but actuallity it is celebrated in almost all the western countries with with major or minor presence.

His origins go back to the Celtas and the holiday was exported to USA by European emigrants in the XIX century, more or less about 1846. The expansive force culture of USA has done that halloween has become popular also in others countries.
